The components of a typical spoon and fork consist in two parts, one for holding and another for food. The side profiles of these two parts are often in the opposite direction, a concave curve and a convex curve. The flatware designed for a Japanese tableware company Sasaki are shaped with just concave curves for both parts. This distinct profile provides a more natural handling when scooping food from bowls and plates.

The seven piece set includes a fork, dessert fork, knife, spoon, teaspoon and a set of salad serves.
